We are currently searching for an experienced HRIS Product Manager, who is an SME in Workday, to join our team based in Melbourne, reporting globally into our North American Head Office.

This position will be working key stakeholders and our internal global Communities of Expertise (COE) and to understand the business needs by consulting on process, design and development of our HRIS, and bringing those changes to life.

Your responsibilities include:

• Work directly with stakeholders in taking a 360 approach in implementing new or improved updates to existing solutions.

• Manage the Workday configuration strategy in partnership with Global HR Workday Director

• Develop project plans using data gathered, constraints, and probable consequences. Ensure adherence to project schedule and other specifications.

• Communicate clearly and collaborate with Stakeholders to turn broad requirements into recommended solutions and deliverables within the scheduled milestones and timeframes.

• Identify test scenarios, develop test scripts, and provide essential support in Systems Integration Testing (SIT)

• Act as the expert and primary authority on configurations within your area(s) of responsibility; defining and shaping the business process architecture within the functional HR processes.

• Stay informed of the Workday roadmap and provide inputs into GPC’s Workday roadmap; actively participating in the Workday Community and advocating for GPC business needs.

• Document requirements and technical specifications to support our solution landscape and HR organizational needs for systems implementation, upgrades, and process improvements.

• Document business requirements and conduct system configuration functionality.

About you:

• Minimum 2 to 5 years’ configuration experience in one or more Workday modules: HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Absence, Payroll and/or Talent & Recruiting

• Functional expertise in one or more of these HR topic areas: HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Absence, Payroll and/or Talent & Recruiting.

• A team player who has the ability to positively influence and manage the outcomes produced by themselves and their team.

• Growth mindset with a focus on continuous improvement as an induvial and for the team locally and globally

• Exceptional communication skills

• Willingness to travel internationally once a year.

• Based on a regular working week, you are able to flex your working hours up and down to accommodate both Australian and overseas communications
