Are you our new Global Technical Accounting Manager?
Location: Stockholm
What will you do:
- Implement new accounting principles
- Act and work proactively within the accounting and finance team for reporting requirements
- Support the consolidation team and ensure compliance with applicable regulations
- Develop and improve accounting processes and routines within the group related to the reporting requirements.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations for internal and external reporting
- Maintain continuous dialogue with auditors for accounting questions
- Continuously support, develop, and improve existing processes and routines
- Participate in investment projects and NPAPs ensure adherence to accounting regulations and drive the Finance agenda for requirements
- Responsible for a smaller team, support and coach team members and set priorities.
- Participate and sometimes lead various projects related to Group Finance, Consolidation team and reporting,
- Participate in the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings for the group with focus on the requirements for the financial reporting.
- Have the full understanding of the JV setup and how this flows into the Group reporting.
In addition to collaborating with many international contacts, you will also work closely with other support functions in Sweden, including Risk, Compliance, Treasury, Tax, Internal Audit, and external auditors.
What we’re looking for:
- 10+ years´ of experience from related roles or with experience from technical accounting from the big four with focus on IFRS reporting and Swedish regulations.
- Working with the improvement of reporting and accounting in accordance with IFRS and other regulations
- Multi-geography experience - Worked in international, diversified businesses, and thus be comfortable working across cultural and geographic boundaries.
- Experience from educating people within the Finance organisation and drive knowledge sharing.
- Work independently with strong communication and problem-solving skills while thriving in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS.
- Proven working experience as a technial accountant during 5-10 years.
- Be pragmatic, proactive, and take initiative within Group Finance and the Consolidation team.
- Academic degree in Finance or Accounting
- Interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbally), analytical, organized, able to motivate both own team and auditees.
- Fluent in Swedish (spoken and written) with excellent English skills
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience from a publicly listed company is an advantage
- Open minded, Stress resilient, Critical and independent with high integrity
