Are you our new Global Tax Controller?

What you will do:
You will be a key member of the Global Finance team, working closely with the Global Tax team and local Finance Directors across Europe. The role will report to Head of Group Finance with the daily support from Tax Team Lead.
- Assist in providing technical and strategic support on tax accounting, reporting, and related queries across various jurisdictions, working closely with local finance and legal teams as well as external advisors.
- Support the development and implementation of key tax strategies and risk mitigation measures, with guidance from senior team members, particularly in relation to OECD Pillar 2 compliance.
- Assist in reviewing and analyzing tax reporting, helping to improve existing processes.
- Contribute to forecasting and analysis of the Group’s effective tax rate and cash taxes across different jurisdictions.
- Support in analyzing tax rates for investment decisions, working alongside senior tax professionals.
- Help ensure the quality of group-level tax accounting and external reporting.
- Provide support to the Swedish entities of the group in tax calculations and tax return processes, focusing especially on interest limitation rules.
- Assist in M&A and investment transactions, gaining exposure to tax and structuring-related workstreams.
- Monitor key international tax trends, particularly in financial services, investments, and asset management, and support their application together with the Investments Finance team.
- Participate in tax audits, legal processes, and tax-related queries under the guidance of senior team members.
- Provide ad hoc tax support and contribute to group-wide transformation projects as needed.
What We´re looking for:
- A relevant university degree, preferably a master’s degree in business or law
- 3-5 years from a similar role, preferably from a Big 4 accounting firm or similar in-house role in a multinational corporation
- Experience in Tax Accounting, Tax Controlling and Financial Reporting
- Considerable knowledge and experience in Tax Compliance for public, multinational companies
- Excellent communication skills, written and oral in English
- We expect all our applicants to have orderly finances
- In addition, the following qualifications are considered beneficial, but not mandatory:
- Experience from the OECD Pillar 2 framework
- Experience working with M&A and complex multinational investment structures
- Financial services or asset management experience
- Experience working with ERP systems
