The Role:

The Global Supply Chain Specialist will play a key role in supporting the order fulfillment and operational areas of the supply chain. Reporting to the Director, Global Supply Chain, this role requires a strong team player with exceptional attention to detail, the ability to prioritize tasks effectively, and strong self-management skills.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving, processing, and managing orders from retailers, as well as handling other supply chain processes. They will also respond to retailer inquiries, track and monitor the status of orders, shipments, and return requests, and manage and present order management KPIs. This role is a critical contributor to the success of the Global Supply Chain team.

Job Responsibilities:
Core Responsibilities

  • Order Processing: Receive, process, and verify the accuracy of orders from retail customers (manual and EDI orders) within established timelines.
  • Collaborate with Sales Operations and Finance to resolve retailer pricing and MOQ discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with 3PL warehouses and/or warehouse vendor managers on order and shipment statuses.
  • Manage the consignment retailer process (e.g., Amazon), including orders and returns.
  • Investigate and resolve consignment return discrepancies, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Prepare and send invoices and credit memos to retail partners.
  • Generate, monitor, and present monthly KPIs.
  • Respond promptly to retailer inquiries.
  • Identify and investigate discrepancies, and reconcile inventory and billing during the month-end process.
  • Perform other duties, including special projects, as assigned by the manager.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Identify and communicate discrepancies in the order, shipment, and return processes.
  • Proactively identify and communicate potential stock or allocation issues.
  • Identify areas for improvement and process optimization opportunities, and collaborate with stakeholders to scope and implement solutions.
  • Maintain and manage process documentation.

Qualifications:

  • 1–3 years of supply chain experience, preferably within the tech or CPG sectors (Experience with Amazon Seller Central is an asset.)
  • Previous experience with ERP systems is mandatory (Experience with SAP is an asset.)
  • Experience working with mass and/or specialty retailers (e.g., Amazon).
  • Post-secondary education in Business and/or Supply Chain Management.
  • Intermediate-level computer skills, including proficiency in Excel, Email, and Word.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong follow-up skills.
  • Highly organized, with a strong sense of ownership over responsibilities and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong interpersonal and client service skills.
  • Ability to think strategically, prioritize effectively, and execute tactically.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in multiple languages is an asset.
