RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as global demand planner for Lubricant Additives product line for all regions (Americas, EMEA, APAC). This includes responsibility to lead monthly Demand Consensus Meetings, manage the IBP process and includes the responsibility to improve the demand planning systems and processes (master data structure, integration and management of Supply Chain processes & tools. Participate on all Division Specialty Additives IBP teams. Particpate in the MTP and capacity planning processes.
- Participate in S&OP Meetings, measure forecast accuracy, run statistical forecasts and analyze data.
- Initiate measures and projects to improve forecast accuracy in collaboration with other departments like Sales, Marketing, Customer Service and Controlling. This includes improving Delivery Performace with all regions.
- Lead and participate in Supply Chain projects to improve processes. For example; introduction, coordination and implementation of new demand planning tools like IBP DP, IBP SP, SNP for the Oil Additives business line. Coordinate between Product Lines. Overall coordinator for IBP rollout in Oil Additives business line. This includes the organization and fixing of necessary SAP master data, setting up intercompany SAP data, cleaning up material numbers in SAP, setting up new virtual warehouses, updating profit centers and cleaning up material numbers. SAP super user for OA Supply Chain.
- Responsible for Performance and KPI management for the Oil Additives business line. This includes creating dashboards and defining relevant KPIs for the business line for Supply Chain costs, inventory and delivery performance.
- Support development of Supply Chain Strategy of the Oil Additives business line and support implementation of SCM@Evonik projects within OA.
REQUIREMENTS
- Successfully completed degree in supply chain management, engineering of production technology or business administration is preferred
- Broad management experience with focus on supply chain management
- Strong understanding of processes, strong analytical skills and project management experience
- In-depth knowledge of supply chain relevant SAP and business warehouse systems
- Fluency in written and spoken English, German language skills desirable
- Strong cross-functional communication skills and motivation to initiate and implement change
- Willingness to travel on business, also internationally
- Good communication skills. Able to communicate with other business groups including; Division Supply Chain, Customer Service, Production and Technology, Customer Relations and Sales.
