We use science to advance industries, and as part of the Planetary Health division, you will work with teams across regions, divisions, and functions to deliver unique biological solutions to meet our customer’s needs. This role will also interface with stakeholders in other business functions as opportunity dictates.

As a Global Strategic Account Manager, you will be working with one of the biggest corporations in the world, to identify the biggest needs and connecting those needs with Biotech innovation to deliver differentiated solutions supporting healthier lives for consumers around the world. In this role, your main focus areas will be to achieve sales and growth targets, while building a strong relationship with a high-profile client.  Additionally, you will have the opportunity to identify and drive business development. You’ll create close relationships on both a commercial and technical level as a trusted advisor. In addition, your creative side will come into play when driving new business ideas and contributing to the development of new innovation. You will interact with a variety of stakeholders from C-Level, R&D, to production stakeholders.

To succeed you must hold:

  • M.Sc. or B.Sc. degree (Business and/or Technical)

  • MBA Preferred

  • Commercial background with a minimum of 10-15 years of business-to-business sales experience representing high value products and services, preferably in biochemical, grain processing or food experience.

  • Experience finding solutions to customer problems in an innovative manner.

  • Process oriented sales approach, with strong negotiation acumen required.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills

  • Established success working on the executive level.

  • Knowledge of enzymes, and/or microbiological applications is a significant plus.

  • Up to 50% travel

Location:

This job is a global role but will be preferably located in the USA (reporting into Franklinton, NC)

Expected salary range: $155,000 - $175,000
