We are actively seeking a Global Sales Strategy Leader to develop and execute high-impact, programmatic sales strategies that drive revenue growth across all geographies. This is a strategic leadership role, responsible for designing and implementing global go-to-market (GTM) initiatives that align with our corporate objectives and regional market dynamics.

The ideal candidate is a forward-thinking strategist with a deep understanding of regional sales landscapes, cultural nuances, and global business development best practices. This role requires close collaboration with Sales Leadership, Marketing, Business Development, Revenue Operations, and Customer Success to build and execute targeted, cross-functional sales programs that maximize sales efficiency and accelerate growth.

As a truly global role, this position requires the ability to navigate diverse cultural, economic, and competitive environments, ensuring sales programs are tailored to regional needs while maintaining global consistency. International travel will be required (up to 60%) to engage directly with sales teams and customers across different markets.

Key Responsibilities

1. Programmatic Sales Execution & Acceleration

  • Develop and lead a global sales strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and regional market dynamics.
  • Design and execute scalable, data-driven sales programs that target high-propensity buyers and accelerate pipeline velocity.
  • Collaborate with regional sales leaders to adapt global initiatives to local markets while maintaining a consistent GTM approach.
  • Evaluate and optimize sales processes to drive efficiency, ensuring alignment across all geographies.

2. Cross-Functional Leadership & Go-to-Market Optimization

  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Marketing, BDR, Customer Success, Revenue Operations, and Product teams to drive coordinated execution of strategic sales initiatives.
  • Ensure all stakeholders are aligned on objectives, execution plans, and performance metrics.
  • Align sales programs with regional and cultural considerations, ensuring maximum effectiveness in different geographies.
  • Serve as a key sales strategy advisor to senior leadership, driving alignment between strategy and execution.

3. Regional Adaptation & Cultural Intelligence

  • Ensure that global sales strategies account for regional economic trends, competitive pressures, and cultural buying behaviors.
  • Work with regional leadership to create tailored sales plays that resonate with local markets while maintaining global alignment.
  • Provide strategic insights to senior leadership on emerging market opportunities and sales performance trends.

4.  Sales Process Optimization & Enablement

  • Identify and implement best practices in sales process, outreach, and customer engagement to improve win rates.
  • Work with Revenue Operations to optimize lead scoring, territory management, and resource allocation.
  • Develop training and enablement tools to ensure sales teams effectively execute strategic programs.

5. Data-Driven Strategy & Performance Measurement

  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of sales programs and optimize for continuous improvement.
  • Leverage data analytics and market intelligence to prioritize target accounts, improve pipeline conversion, and drive revenue growth.
  • Provide regular performance reports and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.

6. Global Stakeholder Engagement & Executive Influence

  • Act as a trusted advisor to sales leadership and executive teams, shaping the future of Rimini Street’s global GTM strategy.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders across diverse regions and cultures.
  • Represent Rimini Street in strategic customer and partner engagements, supporting major deal pursuits and negotiations.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education & Professional Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in sales strategy, revenue operations, or GTM leadership in a B2B technology environment.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing global, multi-region sales strategies that drive measurable revenue growth.
  • Experience leading large-scale, programmatic sales initiatives across diverse geographies.

Proven Thought Leadership & Strategic Impact

  • Deep understanding of regional sales landscapes, cultural nuances, and global business development best practices.
  • Experience adapting global sales strategies to local market conditions while maintaining consistency.
  • Strong ability to translate complex data and insights into actionable sales strategies.

 Professional Experience

  • 10 years of experience in SAP and Oracle ERP technology and core functionality
  • 5 years of experience in a customer-facing pre-sales, consulting, or systems integrator role engaging with large high-tech organizations.
  • Deep understanding of ERP architecture and IT requirements, carveout and data divestiture processes.
  • Deep experience in corporate Information Technology around ERP and related IT systems.  Knowledge of ERP technology infrastructure, architecture and IT best practices on prem and in a cloud (AWS, Azure)
  • Experience in identifying and cultivating business strategies, drivers and value principles as they apply to enterprise ERP IT transformation objectives.
