Responsibilities:

  • Provide high quality immigration consultation and respond to queries from Hitachi Asia business units and group companies
  • Take the lead in managing Singapore immigration case cycle, handling immigration issues, and analyzing individual immigration cases
  • Identify areas of redundancy and process improvement for optimal processes execution
  • Create documents and announce immigration updates, new policies and procedures in Southeast Asia
  • Conduct research, develop project-based services, and coordinate tasks with our business units and group companies  
  • Contribute country-specific insights in areas such as housing, education, tax and immigration into the mobility program
  • Help create new service offerings and act as a project leader for new service implementation
  • Counsel assignees on a broad range of mobility topics, such as payroll, benefits, taxes, immigration, and relocations
  • Coordinate relocation logistics, which may include, but are not limited to: home search, visa applications, tax reporting, and expatriate payroll
  • Ensure Hitachi adheres to all immigration compliance and laws, and conduct audits 
  • Prepare secondment agreements, international assignment letters, and contracts
  • Conduct meetings and training sessions with relevant parties
