Job Description:

We are seeking for an experienced Marketing & Launch Excellence expert to elevate our marketing and launch capabilities within Ipsen. We are currently in a launching phase and require someone with prior experience in both global and local launches to drive our initiatives forward !

This role is crucial in developing and deploying world-class processes, systems, expertise, and awareness related to marketing and launch excellence. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving brand planning, launch readiness guidance & processes and upscaling core marketing skills, to ensure high-quality marketing plans.

Location: Boulogne/Paris (2025) or London – Hybrid

Reporting to : Senior Director Marketing, Launch & Events Excellence

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the development of Global & Local Brand Plans and Global Launch Plans through co-creation strategies at the Global Cross-functional and Global Brand Team (GBT) level.
  • Lead and Support the Global & Local Launch Readiness process together with Global & Local cross-functional teams
  • Oversee the Ipsen Way to Launch process, ensuring regular monitoring of defined KPIs and holding relevant stakeholders accountable.
  • Challenge Asset Leads & Country leads where strategic planning quality is below expectations and advise on course correction.
  • Strengthen communication and knowledge sharing between global-local and cross-functional teams.

Knowledge, Abilities & Experience:

  • Strategic Marketing principles and frameworks applied within the Pharma industry.
  • Successful experience in launching specialty care products or leading launch excellence at global or local levels in a highly competitive environment
  • Proven commercial operations experience (sales, marketing) at global or affiliate levels.
  • Experience in strategic marketing roles, ideally capability-specific roles.
  • Ability to interact and influence multiple stakeholders up to the C-suite level.
  • Leadership, Communications, Stakeholder Management, Project Management, Change Management.
  • Degree-level education, plus further degree or demonstrated learning development. Ability to influence in a complex multi-matrix environment.
