Global Manufacturing Traineeship Program 2025 (12-months)
Location: Kraft-Heinz Kitt Green, Wigan, UK (beginning with a 5 week boot camp in London Shard Offices).

About the Program:
The Kraft Heinz Global Manufacturing Traineeship is a 12-month, hands-on program crafted for recent graduates eager to launch an exciting leadership career in the world of FMCG manufacturing! During this immersive program, you will gain exposure to various aspects of Operations, Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement, ultimately becoming an authority in your field.
Upon successful completion, you'll have the opportunity to continue your career with Kraft-Heinz in a permanent and diverse role within one of our UK manufacturing sites!
Program Structure:

  • Start Date: September 2025, beginning with a 5-week onboarding in our London Shard offices, after which time you'll move to our Kitt Green Wigan site to complete the program.
  • Location: Kitt Green, Wigan factory - after onboarding, you'll be based at the home of the world's famous Heinz Baked Beans, Soups & Pastas - "Nourishing the Nation since 1959".
  • Global Cohort: You'll also be joining a diverse group of international trainees across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Latin America and Australia/New Zealand.

  • Comprehensive Onboarding: In-depth training in Operations, Supply Chain, and Commercial functions, including Marketing, Sales, and Category.
  • Lean Six Sigma Training: Develop expertise in Lean Six Sigma methodology and Kraft-Heinz Manufacturing Excellence Program.
  • Team Leadership Assignment: Lead a factory team, improving your understanding of manufacturing processes and leadership skills.

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree completed in 2024 or 2025. Degrees in Engineering, Science, Manufacturing Engineering or Food Science are advantageous, but all fields are welcome - we want to hear from you if you are truly passionate about entering the world of FMCG manufacturing.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK for beginning September 2025, or a post-graduate working visa for UK students.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong extracurricular achievements reflecting a proactive attitude, ownership, and leadership potential.
  • Approach: A passion for continuous learning, growth, a "can-do" approach and ready to take ownership from day one.

Hiring Process Timeline:

  • 2nd September 2024: Applications open.
  • 2nd September-25th October 2024 -Pymetrics Assessment & Video Interview: Play a series of games to assess your compatibility with the program followed by a brief video submission - we'd love to know more about you!
  • 28th October 2024 - Trainee Interview: an opportunity to meet our Trainees both past and present to discuss the program in more detail.
  • 4th November 2024 - Assessment Day & Business Interview: meet your fellow candidates and collaborate as part of a virtual group exercise designed to test your problem-solving skills and team work, followed by a virtual 1:1 interview with two of our Senior Site Leaders.
  • 11th November 2024 - Panel Interview: A final stage interview with our global senior leaders & site director.
  • Final Offer: Issued to successful candidates.
