Role Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned sales professional with a proven track record in media sales with global media agencies. This role requires an established network within the media agencies, particularly with the “Big 6”, both at the investment and key account levels, where brands invest in sports and football. Your primary goal will be to unlock strategic partnerships with budgets ranging from six to seven digits, focusing on ad revenues derived from centralized agency budget allocations from the UK and potentially the US. You will report directly to the Head of UK Sales.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Partnership Development:
    • Identify and secure high-value partnerships with global media agencies, focusing on the Big 6.
    • Develop customized proposals and marketing solutions that align with our global advertising strategy.
  • Sales & Revenue Growth:
    • Drive the acquisition of strategic partnerships with budgets in the six to seven-digit range.
    • Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals, unlocking significant ad revenue streams.
  • Agency Relationship Management:
    • Leverage and expand your established network within the media agency landscape.
    • Build and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers at major agencies.
  • Market Analysis & Strategy:
    • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics within the media agency ecosystem.
    • Provide strategic insights and recommendations to optimize partnership outcomes.
  • Event Attendance & Global Outreach:
    • Represent OneFootball at key industry events, conferences, and networking functions globally.
    • Travel as required to cultivate relationships and secure new partnership opportunities.
  • Reporting & Collaboration:
    • Deliver regular performance reports, forecasts, and strategic updates to the Head of UK Sales.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the effective execution of partnership initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven track record in media sales with global media agencies, with a focus on sports and football sectors.
  • Demonstrated success in securing high-budget partnerships (6 to 7 digits).
  • Established network and strong relationships with major media agencies, especially the Big 6.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and global environment.


Reporting Structure:

  • This role reports directly to the Head of UK Sales.
