Job Description:

   

Defines high-impact, long-term supply chain architecture strategies at the global, regional and operational level. Establishes and manages cross-functional, cross-regional teams to design and implement end-to-end supply chain capabilities, network design and architecture strategies. Manages strategic supply chain models which translate physical and financial flows into business processes, implementing product and services supply chains into the company's business systems. Identifies, recommends, and implements opportunities for improvement across the supply chain. Partners with management and the extended organization to identify operational inefficiencies and new business opportunities. Develops recommendations based on benchmarking, financial results and statistical data. Communicates strategic direction to the organization.

Unique mastery and recognized authority on relevant subject matter knowledge including technologies, theories and techniques. Contributes to the development of innovative principles and ideas. Successfully operates in the most complex disciplines, in which the company must operate to be successful. Provides highly innovative solutions. Leads large, cross-division functional teams or projects that affect the organization's long-term goals and objectives. May participate in cross-division, multi-function teams. Provides mentoring and guidance to lower level employees. Routinely exercises independent judgment in developing methods, techniques and criteria for achieving objectives. Develops strategy and sets functional policy and direction. Acts as a functional manager within area of expertise but does not manage other employees as a primary job function.

In a typical day as a GLO- Process Engineer, you would...

  • Independently structures analytical approaches and develops project strategies by applying advanced, in-depth supply chain and industry knowledge.
  • Interprets data to create new processes, strategies, and tools to be used for supply chain business objectives.
  • Leads large and small cross-functional, cross-regional teams to design and implement end-to-end supply chain capabilities, network design and architecture strategies.
  • Owns complex strategic supply chain projects from planning through to execution and provides findings resulting from project execution.
  • Consults with business executives on a wide range of high-level supply chain issues, including risk management and new growth opportunities.
  • Identifies, recommends, and implements opportunities for improvement across the supply chain. Partners with management and the extended organization to identify operational inefficiencies and new business opportunities.
  • Creates new frameworks for delivery and contributes to tools, templates, and intellectual capital.

What you need to bring:

 Education & Experience Required

  • Bachelor's (undergraduate) degree in an Engineering (any field), Operations (any field)
  • Master’s degree preferred (or working on it)
  • 10+ years experience in supply chain roles and organizations 
  • Advanced understanding of supply chain processes (plan, source, make deliver)
  • Advanced communication and influencing skills; mastery in English and local language.   Able to represent HPE effectively before customers, in facilitating meetings and conference calls, and before large audiences.
  • Advanced internal and external relationship management skills
  • Superior project management skills, with capability to manage cross functional teams in multiple geographies that impact the organization
  • Superior business acumen and technical knowledge within area of responsibility
  • Excellent leadership skills including team-building and conflict resolution and management
  • High level of initiative and independence
  • Highest possible integrity. Readily demonstrates HPE values
  • Able to travel (~ 15%)
