Job Responsibilities :

As an Esports Intern, you will provide vital support to Razer’s Global Esports marketing team, assisting the Global Esports team in executing strategies that strengthen relationships with professional players and esports organizations. This internship is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about esports and looking to gain hands-on experience in the industry by contributing to Team Razer's global esports initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Support for Global Esports Projects:

  • Assist in coordinating esports-related projects, ensuring alignment with marketing and product goals.

  • Help organize and track timelines for special projects, such as pro player engagements, event coverage, and esports campaigns.

  • Provide administrative and logistical support for global esports initiatives.

Pro Player Support and Engagement:

  • Help facilitate gear seeding programs by coordinating shipping logistics and maintaining accurate records of product distribution to pro players and teams.

  • Support the Global Esports team in outreach to esports organizations, pro players, and creators to gather feedback and foster relationships.

  • Monitor and update ProSettings databases and documents.

Marketing and Campaign Assistance:

  • Contribute to the execution of marketing campaigns, assisting with tasks such as creating assets, gathering content, and tracking deliverables.

  • Stay informed about the latest esports trends to provide input on campaigns that resonate with the esports community.

Community Engagement and Insights:

  • Assist in engaging with the esports community on social media and other platforms, responding to inquiries and gathering insights to inform future campaigns.

  • Help compile and organize pro player to community feedback to share with the Esports Specialist and other internal teams.

Event Support:

  • Provide logistical assistance for esports events, including pre-event coordination and on-ground support as needed.

  • Assist in planning and coordinating activations, ensuring smooth execution and alignment with marketing objectives.

  • Help gather and organize assets from events to be used in future campaigns or content initiatives.

Data and Reporting Assistance:

  • Support the Esports Specialist in tracking and compiling campaign performance data and audience engagement metrics.

  • Conduct basic research on esports competitors and trends, presenting insights to the team.

  • Help maintain spreadsheets and reports related to global esports deliverables, pro player engagement, marketing campaigns, and event performance.

Qualifications:

  • Strong passion for esports, with a basic understanding of major titles, teams, players, and tournaments.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Familiarity with social media platforms, analytics tools, Microsoft Office, and project management software is a plus.

  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and take on new challenges in a fast-paced environment.

  • Availability to assist with occasional travel or weekend work for esports events and activations.
