The Indirect Procurement team is on a transformational journey with the aim to capture a large and unreleased potential by increasing the maturity and proactivity of the Global Indirect Procurement function. As such, we are looking for a Global Category Manager to develop and deliver strategic procurement combined with the possibility to create significant bottom-line results within Global Marketing.

As our Global Category Manager for Marketing, you will be part of the Global Indirect Procurement organization, reporting to Senior Category Manager, Head of Commercial Cluster, Niclas Hammarling, and based at our headquarters in Ballerup, Denmark. Your daily work involves cooperation with your stakeholders across business units in Jabra, SteelSeries and GN Hearing and some international travel should be expected.
What will you be doing?
As our new Category Manager your well-assorted toolbox and experience enables you to enable GN’s ambitious procurement agenda and to deliver strategic and operational results.
We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Category Manager to join our team. As Category Manager for Marketing, you will be responsible for delivering value through cost efficiencies, market analysis and effectiveness across our Marketing departments consisting of several brands for Hearing aids, Jabra, SteelSeries, FalCom and BlueParrott. In your role, you will support the Marketing Leadership Teams as a Business Partner, guiding their decisions with supplier and market related input.

Category Strategies: You should be able to develop and implement category strategies that align with the company's overall goals and objectives.

Stakeholder Management: You should have a Business Partner mind-set and effective Stakeholder Management skills are expected.

Opportunity assessments: You should be able to assess opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

Supplier Negotiations: You should be able to source and negotiate large contracts with suppliers that deliver cost savings and other benefits to the company.

Supplier Management: You should be able to establish and build relationships with key suppliers that improves the strategic cooperation.

Demand Management: You should be able to implement initiatives that optimize demand and reduces costs.

A relevant master’s degree, or a bachelor’s degree with several years of relevant work experience.

Experience working as a consultant is considered and advantage.

A personal drive and curiosity and you should be self-motivated, focused on meeting your goals and have the will to learn and grow in your role.
