This role is eligible for our hybrid work model: Two days in-office.

A brand new exciting position to support one of the fastest growing areas for our company. The successful candidate would own and be expected to develop one of the largest spend categories, enabling our multiple brands to provide world-class Payment solutions and experiences. Partner with our FinTech Commercial teams by leading and supporting the sourcing and contracting of all external partners (payment service providers, payment methods, consultancies, and data providers) in providing optimized payment options for our customers to pay us, and for us to pay our Partners (Hotels, Airlines, Car Rental and Attractions). Be successful in this role by acting as a central pivot that connects departments together, whilst identifying and executing cross-brand opportunities to maximize company return. 

In this role you will get to:

  • Proactively provide sourcing and contracting support to our brand-specific commercial teams that work with our FinTech Product teams to deliver best-in-class Payment solutions.

  • Build and evolve relationships with key FinTech leadership, Commercial, Analytics, and Operational teams to ensure appropriate Procurement support is in place to enhance or expedite the individual brand-specific FinTech Commercial teams’ value-adding agenda.

  • Develop and adapt a procurement approach that encompasses; effective and efficient contract reviews with our Legal and Risk teams, and support for Commercial teams in producing agile sourcing and negotiation techniques that maximize benefits at brand and cross-brand levels.

  • Lead specific sourcing initiatives that benefit from the innovation you bring from rigorous study of external developments in a fast-evolving Digital Payment space.

  • Drive savings and revenue-generating initiatives through sourcing, vendor-to-consolidation, and process improvement, whilst managing the end-to-end S2P process

  • Actively participate in the implementation of Procurement processes and tools as well as associated policies

  • Drive change in the mindset of stakeholders and brands to work as one combined company to maximize the value of contracts and vendor relationships

What you have:

  •  Experience in FinTech, Open Banking, and/or Merchant Payments in  Commercial or Procurement capacity is highly desirable

  • Strong skills in presenting to senior audiences, influencing decisions, and active listening.

  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate at different levels – from complex multi-layered MSAs to straightforward one-off agreements.

  • Skilled at proactively identifying opportunities for volume aggregation, contract consolidation, or Proof of Concept expansion.

  • Ability to develop a Global Procurement Category strategy that aligns with the needs of key stakeholders across all brands, 

  • Familiarity with contract clauses and initial screening prior to legal review.

  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate vendor proposals.

  • Experience  leading competitive sourcing RFx processes and aligning them to brand standards, 

  •  Ability to adapt to multiple brands, processes, and systems – while ensuring compliance and simplifying workflows when possible.  Strategic and tactical partnership with Commercial teams to support P&L objectives.

  • Flexibility to work across time zones (e.g., Thailand) and travel based on business needs required.

There are a variety of job related factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. In addition to a competitive base salary, roles are eligible to be considered for an annual bonus and equity grant.

The base salary range for Connecticut and the NYC-metro area is $137,400-$168,000.
