About the role: 

We are currently looking for a passionate, high energy, outcome-oriented Global Accounts Receivable Manager with intellectual curiosity and a bias toward action to join our growing team. You will be responsible for managing our global billings and collections team at Nintex. This role will be managing all billings including professional services, daily collections, and will build a scalable end-to-end revenue and billing processes for all entities. You will be working with our Sales, Sales Operations, Accounting and Tax teams, while ensuring a positive experience for our team and customers. 

This role aims to provide the best of class customer experience and has visibility across the organization senior leadership team. 

Your contribution will be:  

  • Manage and grow the current global team of five
  • Manage order to cash processes. Build a strong relationship with Sales Leadership, Sales Operations and Professional Services teams
  • Review contracts for proper documentation and ensure contracts are executed in accordance with the Company’s bookings policy and revenue recognition guidance under ASC 606
  • Review monthly invoices for accuracy
  • Manage global collections and keep outstanding balances within Company’s metrics
  • Compile weekly global AR reports
  • Manage customer queries and escalations, while ensuring positive experience for everyone involved
  • Investigate discrepancies and track payments, especially as it related to M&A activity
  • Manage routine close activities relating to revenue, billings, and collections
  • Partner with cross functional teams to create and manage scalable revenue and billing processes
  • Work closely with Sales, Sales Operations, Professional Services and FP&A teams
  • Manage Invoice templates in NetSuite to ensure appropriate billing in various countries, including sales and local taxes
  • Work with external auditors
  • Assist with M&A efforts with regards to integration of customer accounts
  • Assist with ad hoc projects as they arise across various teams
  • Be flexible in a constantly changing and high growth business environment 

To be successful, we think you need:  

  • At least 5 years of experience in managing billings and collections, preferably for a global multi-country technology company
  • Experience managing a team of three or more
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Strong project management and organization skills
  • Ability to closely pay attention to detail
  • Ability to be flexible from time to time to work with an international team in different time zones
  • General understanding of the ASC 606 is required
  • Experience with NetSuite and SalesForce is preferred
