Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of global standards for employee ‘s area of expertise (BMS) and take decisions
  • on technical issues affecting employee ‘s area of expertise.
  • Design, implement, support, and hand over new automation processes and Digital Factory (Industry
  • 4.0) development to the operational team.
  • Explore, evaluate and introduce new manufacturing and control techniques and technologies.
  • Looking for new potential suppliers who are able to support the automation projects, evaluate them
  • and actively liaise with the suppliers in case of different projects.
  • Provide technical support to other co-disciplines globally, mentor and train engineering colleagues on
  • a global basis
  • Design, develop, deploy and deliver of the new automated processes to regional and factory
  • engineering and lead the high-level automation activities.
  • Leads develop Harman PLC programming standards
  • Leads develop and maintenance of Software version control process
  • Leads develop and deploy new Harman (PLC Programming) Library
  • Leads develop and programming safety systems standards
  • Find and evaluate new suppliers and PLC and other software technology.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor or/and Master degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 10 years programming experience
  • Proficiency in Beckhoff (TwinCat) programming
  • Advanced knowledge of C# programming experience
  • Good knowledge Networking protocols (EtherCAT, OPC, TCP/IP UDP/IP, MQTT, ProfiNET)
  • Use of tools like XAR, VisualStudio, VSCode, SSH, Wireshark,
  • Test script development from high level manual tests steps
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analysis skills
  • You should be able to write clean and maintainable code
  • Excellent skills in verbal and written communication in English

What Is Nice to Have:

  • Experience with GIT version control systems
  • Good knowledge of Python, SQ
