Overview
The Global Alliance Leader in Americas will be responsible for defining and executing a strategic plan to cultivate and strengthen relationships with Global System Integrator (GSI) Partnerships in the region. This role will be pivotal in leveraging alliances to drive growth, enhance our market presence, and deliver value to our customers.
To help our teams work together effectively, this role is a remote position and requires you to be located in the United States.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Development: Design and implement a comprehensive alliance strategy for the Americas region across the United States, Canada, and Latin America, focusing on building and expanding relationships with key partners.
  • Partnership Management: Manage a portfolio of strategic partners, ensuring alignment with company objectives and driving joint business development initiatives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, product, and customer success teams to integrate alliance strategies with overall company goals and ensure seamless execution.
  • Market Expansion: Identify and pursue new partnership opportunities to expand market reach and enhance product offerings in the Americas region.
  • Joint Go-to-Market Strategies: Develop and execute joint go-to-market initiatives, including co-marketing and co-selling activities, to maximize the impact of partnerships.
  • Performance Tracking: Establish and monitor key performance indicators to evaluate the success of alliance strategies and initiatives, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with business objectives.
  • Executive Engagement: Facilitate regular communication and meetings with partner executives to maintain strong relationships, address challenges, and explore new opportunities.
  • Innovation and Collaboration: Foster an environment of collaboration and innovation, leveraging partner capabilities to develop joint solutions that meet customer needs.

  • 7+ years experience in managing global alliances or partnerships, particularly with GSIs, within the Americas region, preferably in the enterprise software industry.
  • Strong strategic thinking, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing partnership strategies that drive business growth and market expansion.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Deep understanding of the Americas market landscape.


Compensation
At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $231,800 - $309,000
Zone B: $208,600 - $278,100
Zone C: $192,400 - $256,500
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
