We’re looking for a content innovator at StrongDM. Driving StrongDM’s account-based marketing (ABM) efforts, this role reports into Marketing Strategy. Your mission (should you choose to accept it) will be to develop campaigns supporting Business Development Representatives (BDRs) and Account Executives (AEs) in prospecting into our target ICP accounts and key personas. The candidate will also lead the build-out of ABM programs to accelerate lead conversion and help sales teams multi-thread accounts to ensure the needs of the entire buying team are addressed.

This position demands knowledge of the finicky cybersecurity buyer, strategic thinking, campaign development, tactical execution, and data-driven analysis. The ideal candidate will have a history of content creation for the cybersecurity industry, from writing and presentation development to social media engagement.

What you’ll do…

  • ICP Playbooks: Coordinate the effort to create ICP-specific playbooks for target audiences, which includes outreach sequences, emails, presentations, and 1:many ABM tactics which can support the sales play. 
  • Sales Campaign Development: Develop and execute marketing strategies and messaging that clearly communicate StrongDM's value proposition to segmented audiences to support BDR and AE prospecting efforts into target accounts.
  • ABM Execution: Design and implement account-based marketing programs using tools like Mutiny or Sendoso to personalize engagement, drive lead conversions, and accelerate pipeline progression through targeted campaigns.
  • Multi-Threading Strategy: Develop strategies to help sales teams successfully multi-thread key accounts, ensuring that the needs of all decision-makers and influencers within the buying group are met.
  • Content Development: Partner with the content team to create high-impact content for BDR and AE campaigns, including case studies, blog posts, playbooks, sales materials, and personalized outreach content. Personalize marketing content and messaging for multiple buyer personas across target accounts.
  • Market Intelligence: Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitive positioning, and customer pain points, using these insights to inform ABM strategies and sales playbooks. Coordinate with sales and marketing teams to identify high-value accounts, decision-makers, and influencers.
  • Go-to-Market Strategy for Launches: Partner with sales, product, and marketing teams to design and execute go-to-market plans for new product launches and ongoing sales initiatives. Partner with the organizations above to develop and execute a consistent plan for target accounts throughout the entire buyer’s journey.
  • Event and Webinar Support: Help plan and execute ABM-focused events and webinars to engage prospects and customers, and drive follow-up meetings and opportunities from broader marketing events and webinars.

Requirements…

  • 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity or cybersecurity marketing.
  • 5+ years of experience in a B2B marketing role with a significant focus on ICP content development and account-based marketing strategies.
  • Experience with marketing and sales tools (especially Salesforce and HubSpot).
  • Excellent communication skills, loves writing, creating slides, comfortable presenting on webinars and training, and communicating through social media.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with experience working in cross-functional teams.
  • Creative thinking and strategic planning skills, with a detail-oriented approach to execution.
  • A passion for technology and innovation, with a drive to stay ahead of industry trends and best practices for measuring funnel metrics.
  • Bonus points for experience with Mutiny, Sendoso, or 6Sense; experience running webinars in an engaging way that earns trust with the cybersecurity buyer.

Compensation…

  • $160,000 - $190,000 + equity salary packages
