Job Description
GLD Business Process Efficiency Lead Role Summary. The role of the GLD process efficiency lead is to conduct thorough evaluations of business processes to identify inefficiencies and waste, and developing strategies to streamline operations and improve productivity. They also involve developing consistent process standards, maintaining a library of business processes, and leading process improvement projects to ensure timely and budget-compliant completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Process Analysis and Optimization: Conduct thorough evaluations of current business processes to identify areas of inefficiency and waste. Develop and implement strategies to streamline operations, reduce costs, and improve overall productivity.
• Process Standards & Management: Develop consistent standards for process definition, and train others on how to apply tools and templates to their relevant area. Maintain a library of business processes.
• Project Management: Lead process improvement projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. Coordinate with various departments to align project goals with organizational objectives and track progress.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with team members, managers, and other stakeholders to gather insights and feedback on existing processes. Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging open communication and collaboration across the organization.
• Training and Support: Provide comprehensive training to employees on new processes, tools, and best practices. Offer ongoing support to ensure that changes are effectively implemented and adopted by all team members.
• Change Management:
• Manage the transition of process changes, addressing any resistance and ensuring smooth implementation.
• Engage with stakeholders to secure their buy-in and support for new initiatives, fostering a positive attitude towards change.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you have:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in process management or a similar role.
• Certifications such as Lean Six Sigma or PMP.
• Familiarity with process mapping and improvement tools.
Skills:
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate and improve processes.
• Project management experience.
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex ideas.
• Problem-solving abilities.
• Team leadership and motivation skills.
