As a GIS Specialist, you will leverage your expertise in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to manage, analyze, and interpret spatial data. - Work effectively in a dynamic, multi-contractor environment and demonstrate flexibility.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of GIS principles and practices, including data types, data layers, geographic and routing analysis, and data conversion.
- Proficiency in GIS software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, iD, and JOSM is preferred.
- Experience with digital cartography, satellite image digitization, and geographic feature identification.
- Ability to perform tasks efficiently in fast-paced, task-oriented environments.
- Eagerness to learn about new technologies and tools.
- Experience in geospatial modeling, spatial analysis, and database management.
- Familiarity with road form data and its application in GIS platforms.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Geography, GIS, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in GIS, digital cartography, or a similar role is highly desirable.
