As GIS Engineer, you will be part of the multipurpose GIS department with specialization in the geophysical, geotechnical and environmental fields in which G-Tec is active. You will also be fully included in projects as a specialist in cartography, data management & analysis, Data design and management.
G-tec is a specialized contractor and consultant in Geophysics, Engineering Geology and Environment. G-tec operates around the world on land and at sea with a highly qualified and motivated team of civil engineers, earth scientists, hydrographers, biologists and electronic engineers providing efficient and innovative solutions for ground investigation and hydrographic surveys, completely in line with the client's demands and requirements.
Your role will mainly be performed from the G-Tec office in Milmort and at our client’s premises. Working from home is also a possibility.Your responsibilities

Take care of data design and management;

perform data analysis and modelling;

create cartography and data visualization;

ensure workflow improvement and development.
Your profile

Master in Geography, Geomatic, Geosciences, or equivalent;

good Software skills in ArcGIS platform (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise), QGIS, Programming Python and / or Javascript, PostgresSQL and AutoCAD;

you have notion of relational database design and management concepts;

you have analytical capabilities and you think out of the box;

knowledge of cartography;

fluent in verbal and written English.
