Freese and Nichols has a great opportunity in Fort Worth for a GIS Analyst. This is an entry level role and open to recent and upcoming graduates with a BS or MS degree in GIS, Geography, Environmental Science, Computer Science or related field.
Major Accountabilities:
- Demonstrate competency in the use of GIS software - ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Online, and mobile data collection apps
- Support the development of custom web applications
- Configure and publish ArcGIS map services
- Competent in Cartography
- Knowledgeable in working with Spatial and Tabular Data
- Demonstrate basic scripting knowledge
- Support business needs of the organization using GIS
- Maintain enterprise GIS software and infrastructure
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geography, Environmental Science, Computer Science or related field.
In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, a minimum of 4 years of experience or an Associate’s degree and 2 years of experience. A master’s degree counts as 1 year of experience.
