Freese and Nichols has a great opportunity in Fort Worth for a GIS Analyst. This is an entry level role and open to recent and upcoming graduates with a BS or MS degree in GIS, Geography, Environmental Science, Computer Science or related field.

Major Accountabilities:

  • Demonstrate competency in the use of GIS software - ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Online, and mobile data collection apps
  • Support the development of custom web applications
  • Configure and publish ArcGIS map services
  • Competent in Cartography
  • Knowledgeable in working with Spatial and Tabular Data
  • Demonstrate basic scripting knowledge
  • Support business needs of the organization using GIS
  • Maintain enterprise GIS software and infrastructure
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geography, Environmental Science, Computer Science or related field.

In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, a minimum of 4 years of experience or an Associate’s degree and 2 years of experience.  A master’s degree counts as 1 year of experience.
