Lineage Food Service Solutions is seeking an experienced and motivated General Manager to join our team at the Attalla, AL facility. In this pivotal role, you'll oversee the final mile distribution of customer goods, ensuring seamless operations, exceptional service, and strategic excellence.

What You’ll Do:

  • Team Leadership: Direct, recruit, train, and develop your team, providing performance feedback to drive productivity and effectiveness.
  • Operational Excellence: Analyze warehouse activities and costs, implement process improvements, and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Labor to Revenue (LTR), truck turn times, and customer service standards.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, capital expenditures, and space utilization to meet corporate targets while driving operational efficiency.
  • Customer Focus: Build and maintain excellent client relationships, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.
  • Safety and Quality: Lead initiatives to maintain food safety, employee health and safety, and compliance with all regulatory standards.

What You Bring:

  • Education & Experience: 5+ years in Operations Management with specific experience in a foodservice warehouse environment handling final mile distribution.
  • Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to develop and implement strategies, budgets, and operational plans.
  • Continuous Improvement Expertise: Familiarity with quality processes like Six Sigma and/or LEAN.
  • Leadership Skills: Experience in managing, training, and developing teams in operational roles.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication, with the ability to present technical results to non-technical audiences.
  • Analytical Mindset: Excellent problem-solving skills, including handling ambiguity and delivering actionable insights.
  • Flexibility & Adaptability: Ability to work in environments with varying temperatures (-20°F to 100°F) and noise levels, wearing company-provided protective equipment.
