As we expand our presence to Macau, we are seeking an experienced General Manager to drive sales and elevate our brand's performance. You will actively contribute to building our Macau business from the ground up, exploring partnership opportunities in Macau and beyond and utilizing your connections with HNW and VIP clients to generate individual sales. What you’ll be doing:

  • VIP Sales Strategy Development: Develop sales, activation, and re-engagement strategies to drive revenue growth among HNW and VIP clients and business partners. 
  • Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including casinos, hotels, and other vendors to enhance collaboration and mutual success.
  • GMV Targets: Responsible for achieving GMV targets in Macau, taking initiative to implement strategies and tactics that drive sales and revenue growth, and engaging in individual sales with HNW and VIC to demonstrate a hands-on approach to meet and exceed targets.
  • Identify and cultivate key accounts: Proactively identify and cultivate relationships with high-value customers (both cosigners and buyers) to maximize lifetime value and deepen engagement.
  • Industry Outreach: Engage in industry events, conferences, and networking functions to activate new clients and explore business opportunities. Participate in brand events and projects to expand our reach and influence.
  • Partnership Development: Collaborate with casino partners to design exclusive promotions and events that elevate the Wristcheck experience, enhancing brand visibility and sales potential. Identify and target industry segments and organizations that attract a similar luxury clientele.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless and on-brand client experience. Continuously optimize processes to deliver a best-in-class experience for the Wristcheck community. 
  • Team Leadership: Inspire and guide the sales team to achieve performance goals, providing support through targeted sales initiatives that drive inquiries and foster a high-performance culture.
  • Optimise Sales Processes: Continuously review and improve sales processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to streamline operations, reduce costs, and maximize sales outcomes. 
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify areas for growth and improvement. Assess client sentiment and tailor initiatives to meet the unique needs of distinct client segments. Provide regular reports and insights to senior management.
  • Market Expertise: Utilize in-depth knowledge of industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences in Macau and Greater China to inform strategic business decisions. Develop and implement strategies that capitalize on market opportunities and address challenges effectively.

What you’ll bring:

  • Minimum of 6 years at a management level in luxury watch sales, at least 3 years focused on VIP or HNW client management.
  • Proven track record of driving VIP sales in Macau in a high-performance environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to cultivate and maintain relationships within the casino and hospitality sectors in Macau.
  • Strong understanding of the watch industry, technical product knowledge, brands, complications, and price points on the secondary market. 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with VIP clients and partners.
  • Proactive, self-motivated and an excellent team player able to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities, with experience in coaching and developing sales personnel.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese. Additional languages are a big plus!
