The General Manager oversees all resident services at Hampden House and overall Community operations.
The General Manager will manage the operations of the community to include staff performance, resident satisfaction, and financial success. A successful General Manager will generate income by effectively leading the sales team, monitoring market conditions, controlling budget, attracting residents and retaining them through outstanding customer service.
The General Manager will engage in all aspects of the community’s operations from the implementation of programs and services for residents and prospective residents to achieve annual business goals to reporting and managing leasing files.
The General Manager will develop a thorough understanding of the assigned communities competitive set and make pricing and marketing recommendations to optimize performance within the market.
Additionally, the General Manager will ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws, specifically Fair Housing and affordable housing regulations.
You will need a minimum of five to seven (5-7) years of relevant job experience (hi-rise management preferred), strong knowledge of Federal, State, and Local Landlord Tenant laws, and a strong knowledge of Fair Housing, ADA and OSHA.
