Key responsibilities
- Record expense accruals provided by the Controlling area and corroborate the veracity of the information.
- Record the accruals provided by the HR department and calculate those that apply.
- Record and calculate the monthly adjustment for revenue recognition in the companies where applicable.
- Update the Visual Lease system in order to carry out the registrations in a correct and timely manner.
- Reconcile and analyze balance sheet accounts in accordance with PHINIA policy.
- Analyze and record the charges sent by corporate through green sheets.
- Execute and record the revaluation in the applicable entities.
- Prepare financial statements if required.
- Respond to corporate requirements.
- Review the information and transactions that are recorded in the company's accounting books.
- Elaborate procedures according to your area, such as fixed assets, expense records, analysis and follow-up of provisions, control of leases applicable to NIF-D5 & IFRS 16 regulations, etc.
- Attention to internal and external audits (of controls and financial statements).
- Review of requests related to the payroll area.
- Support in Treasury and Internal Control activities.
- Participation in the Annual Final Inventory.
What we’re looking for
- Grade: Certified Public Accountant.
- Time of experience in similar position: 3 years or more in similar position.
- Technical knowledge required: General accounting under NIF, preparation and interpretation of financial statements, attention to audits, Microsoft Office, SAP,
- Other requirements: Action Oriented, Learning on the fly, Functional and Technical Skills.
- English Required: Desirable
