As an Accounting Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing General Ledger accounts, internal control policies and procedures, and tax statutory reporting. Your role will focus on ensuring compliance, financial accuracy, and efficiency in accounting processes while supporting tax projects and financial reporting.
About the Job:

Design and execute quarterly and annual audit plans using a risk-based approach to ensure compliance with corporate policies.

Conduct audits of policies and procedures to align with internal control standards.

Evaluate key controls periodically through testing and other methods.

Support internal and external audits, including year-end corporate finance internal control audits.

Oversee general accounting functions such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounting.

Manage statutory general ledger compliance with Mexico’s tax laws.

Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Coordinate fixed asset control, reconciliations, and process audits.

Monitor and administer bank transactions and treasury activities.

Prepare and file tax declarations, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.

Support intercompany billing, follow up on payments, and analyze cash flow.

Collaborate with the payroll team to ensure compliance with payroll laws.
About You:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with a strong focus on tax.

3+ years of experience in accounting, taxation, accounts payable, or bank and accounts receivable within a manufacturing environment.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, general ledger functions, and month-end/year-end close processes.

Expertise in Mexico’s tax laws and compliance requirements.

Experience with SAP CO, MM, and PP is a plus.

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional and global teams.
