Responsibilities
- Collaborate with game designers and artists to create interactive and visually appealing game experiences.
- Develop high-quality, efficient, and scalable game code in collaboration with the programming team.
- Implement game mechanics, features, and systems.
- Optimize game performance and troubleshoot bugs and issues.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Contribute to the design and planning of game architecture.
- Test and iterate on gameplay elements to enhance player experience.
- Collaborate with audio engineers to integrate sound effects and music.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Game Developer or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in game development languages such as C++ or C#.
- Experience with game engines such as Unity or Unreal Engine.
- Solid understanding of 3D math, physics, and graphics programming.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a creative and fast-paced environment.
- Passion for gaming and staying current with industry trends.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with multiplayer and online game development.
- Knowledge of virtual reality (VR) or augmented reality (AR) development.
- Familiarity with shader programming.
- Previous experience with game animation and rigging.
- Understanding of game monetization strategies.
