The Fee & Billing team is responsible for calculating fund commissions and invoicing portfolio management fee of mandates.
Your tasks reach from straight forward to complex and interconnected calculations.
What would your role be?
- Various fund commissions calculations (trailer fee, rebates, platform- and service fees) of clients in Europe, Latin America, Asia and USA
- Invoicing of various mandate management fees
- Initiate commission payments and re-investments in funds
- Feasibility checks of the conditions and calculation methodologies of new distribution/rebate agreements and amendments of existing ones
- Quarterly holdings verification and booking in the system and accounts assignments
- Monthly custodian data imports and exports (e.g. to MIS)
- Identify automation potentials and implement system (Calculo) and process optimization measures
- Assisting team head in various projects, improving the system and acting as deputy
- Answer ad-hoc requests and perform analysis for internal stakeholders
- Further tasks may include the calculation of portfolio management fee of mandates incl. performance fee
What are we looking for?
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in the field of funds (commissions) or portfolio management fee calculation
- Expertise with Sowatec's fee calculation solution Calculo is a plus
- A strong team player and interest for high-level client services
- Understand complex connections and inter-dependencies
- Strong analytical and technical skills as well as attention to detail
- In-depth knowledge of MS Office, especially Microsoft Excel
- Fluent in German and English (written and oral)
