Job Description:
We are currently looking for a Functional Data Analyst to work with one of our clients in the energy sector. The successful candidate will join the "Data" team, which manages data for both Downstream and Upstream activities, with a focus on Forecasting. In this role, you will be responsible for data management, ensuring high-performing forecasting processes, and bridging the gap between business and IT teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write functional specifications (PBI, use cases, process design)
- Develop and execute test cases, including integration testing
- Serve as a liaison between business and development teams
- Assist with business acceptance testing
- Monitor production and perform maintenance
- Ensure timely deliveries and adherence to deadlines
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in Data Management
- Knowledge of the energy market industry
- Technical expertise in SQL and Python
- Experience with API development and cloud environments (AWS)
- Familiarity with tools like Databricks, PySpark, Insomnia, and Postman
- Experience in functional database design and data warehousing
Additional Information: This project is focused on supporting and securing the business processes related to confirmed sales positions in gas and power markets. The service is carried out within the Downstream & Upstream Delivery Centers, with a focus on the LSS departments of Brussels but may extend to various European countries.
Languages:
English is required; proficiency in French is a strong plus.
