As a functional analyst, you stand out for your leadership skills and your ease communicating both summaries and analysis for IT and business professionals. You should be equally interested in both functional analysis and quality assurance. Our team actively contributes to the development and growth of systems used in the Capital Markets Department at Desjardins, particularly for foreign exchange contracts. Our day-to-day work is full of challenges, both on a technical level and as we work to adopt a DevOps culture, one where practices and processes are automated and optimized to the fullest. Analyze, diagnose, follow up on and resolve critical and complex system issues

Help the squad define its needs and prepare stories, and help determine the correct functional solution based on priorities and delivery times

Analyze and document requests. Identify alternatives, make recommendations and produce and update execution and production files

Coordinate project teams by analyzing components and coordinating collaborator contributions
-
Work with the product owner and project team to define functional specifications and exceptions
-
Cocreate with business partners to define needs and manage backlogs
-
Define and run automated and/or manual tests within your scope (specific cases/exceptions)

What you bring to the table

Bachelor's degree in a related field

A minimum of four years of relevant experience

Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered

Experience searching databases for analysis purposes (SQL serveur, DB2, Oracle)

Experience with foreign exchange contracts

Knowledge of French is required

Knowledge of Agile/Scrum mode

Knowledge of FX Sentry software

Knowledge of the banking business sector
