Fullstack Developer Java+PHP+React
Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled Fullstack Software Engineer to join our team and take a leading role in the development and enhancement of a comprehensive resource center designed to empower employers with insights on tools, job trends, and hiring practices. This platform spans 90 locales and features thousands of articles, making it a critical tool for our users. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will leverage your expertise in Java, PHP, JavaScript, and React to deliver scalable and high-performance software solutions, optimizing the platform’s content management system (CMS) based on WordPress.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop fullstack applications using Java, PHP, JavaScript, and React to enhance and maintain the resource center.
- Customize and integrate WordPress CMS to support content creation and management across 90 locales.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and marketers, to drive innovation and improve the platform’s features.
- Implement GraphQL for efficient data retrieval and CSS for UI styling to enhance the user experience.
- Ensure best practices in software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, and testing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues to ensure seamless operation of the platform.
- Work in an agile development environment, collaborating on sprints and actively participating in standups and retrospectives.
Must-Have Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience in software development with a strong focus on backend development using Java.
- Experience with React for front-end development and dynamic user interfaces.
- Hands-on experience with WordPress CMS integration and customization.
- Proficiency in GraphQL, CSS, and React for building responsive and efficient web applications.
- Solid understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC), including coding standards, code reviews, and testing.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience working in an agile environment with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience working with Mac OS.
Nice-to-Have Requirements:
- Familiarity with GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, Jira, and Datadog for monitoring and collaboration.
- Knowledge of testing frameworks such as JUnit and React Testing Library.
- Experience with AWS services (S3, CloudFront) for building scalable cloud solutions.
- Expertise in Terraform for cloud infrastructure management.
- Understanding of SEO principles to improve site visibility and search engine rankings.
