Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Frontend Engineer to join our team. You will play a critical role in designing, developing and optimizing user-facing dApps built on top of our D3 Protocol, a platform connecting traditional DNS and web3 naming technologies to create a unified naming system compatible across the Internet and all blockchains. Familiarity with token standards such as ERC-721, ERC-1155, ERC-20 and wallet integrations is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the product team to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications and features.
- Develop and maintain the frontend components of our user-facing domain registrar and marketplace using NextJS, Typescript, React, GraphQL, HTML, and CSS.
- Design and implement standalone decentralized applications (dApps) that seamlessly integrate Web2 and Web3 APIs.
- Design and build user interfaces according to wireframes and high-fidelity mocks with meticulous attention to detail.
- Contribute to our open source SDKs which allow developers to easily integrate D3 Protocol into their applications.
- Write and maintain unit, integration, and E2E tests to ensure code quality and robustness.
- Ensure the scalability, performance, and security of the protocol and application.
- Maintain and optimize the performance of existing codebase and address any bugs or issues that arise.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, frameworks, and ensure accessibility standards (WCAG), search engine optimization (SEO), and web performance best practices are followed to enhance user experience.
Qualifications:
- Strong passion for Blockchain technologies and protocols, including but not limited to L1 / L2 blockchain ecosystems, decentralized finance, NFT marketplaces, oracles and bridges,.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications and additional coursework are a plus.
- Minimum 5 years in frontend development with a focus on modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular).
- Extensive experience working with CSS frameworks (e.g., Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap) and media queries to deliver fully responsive layouts.
- Experience integrating with Web3 technologies and libraries such as web3.js, ethers.js, and wagmi.
- Strong understanding of mobile-first design principles and the ability to optimize web applications for small-screen devices.
- Familiarity with Git version control and Agile methodologies for collaborative development.
- Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a self-motivated attitude, with a willingness to learn new technologies in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and within cross-functional teams to achieve business goals.
Pluses:
- Smart contract development, writing Solidity code.
- Experience with React Native and/or mobile development.
- Understanding of accessibility design principles.
