About the Role:
If you want to work on cutting edge technology with friendly, intelligent people in a highly collaborative environment, then Gradient AI is the right place for you. We’re looking for a Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our team and help build scalable, client-facing applications. The ideal candidate is a life-long learner who knows Python, with strong analytical skills and an interest in the insurance industry.
How you will make an impact:
- Build and maintain client-facing web applications using React for the front end and Flask for the back end.
- Collaborate with the product team to design, develop, and deploy new features and functionality for our web apps and SaaS products.
- Develop and maintain APIs that integrate seamlessly with front-end interfaces and support client needs.
- Work closely with our data science and data engineering teams to build robust data pipelines and workflows.
- Develop intuitive dashboards and business intelligence tools that help our clients make data-driven decisions.
Skills needed to succeed:
- 3+ years of experience as a full-stack developer, with deep expertise in React (component-based architecture, state management, hooks) and Python (Flask, API development).
- Strong experience in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern front-end technologies like Vite.
- Proficiency with relational databases, including schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- A high degree of organization and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
