TEAM
Software development in the automotive industry comes with unique challenges. From deploying artifacts to cloud, mobile devices, and vehicles, to meeting vehicle security certifications and navigating different types of testing and simulation, it can be overwhelming for automotive software developers. That's why the Enterprise Technology Engineering Team (EnTec) builds solutions that enhance productivity, so developers can focus on their true passion – software development – without being bogged down by setup and customization tasks.

We use the latest technologies to help engineering teams go faster, with safety as our top priority. WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
By our nature we are designed to bring expertise to different systems and projects spanning many technologies, therefore we expect our developers to be versatile and a polyglot (concerning programming languages of course!).
We encourage developers to compare and choose what they think is the best approach for the task at hand. That's why we expect a certain level of involvement, perseverance and ability to manage healthy discussions with team members. How else would you deliver the best solution if you don't want to hear everyone's opinion?
You will report to the Team Lead and work in a hybrid work environment requiring you to be on-site 3 days per week.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Understand developers needs and productivity blockers with empathy, creating and implementing solutions to make them more productive
- Be transparent and willing to ask "why?", "when?" and "how?" when speaking with customers or manager
- Understand developer workflows and build systems to improve building times
- Look for opportunities to improve developer productivity by reduction of unnecessary processes, creative automation and DevSecOps workflow simplification
- Analyze problems, transforming requirements into testable, maintainable, high-quality code with associated documentation
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of experience in data structures, algorithms, and software design
- Proficiency in functional languages and object-oriented (Python, Go, Java, Node.JS and C*)
- Proficiency with front-end related languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript and front-end related technologies such as Webpack/Parcel, React/Vue.JS, Three.js and many, many more
- Describe and understand each step of production process from "I created new branch" to "Customer sees my changes"
NICE TO HAVES:
- Experience working with business software development team and improving the business teams work efficiency
- Experience managing several projects simultaneously without needing to be micromanaged
- Desire for self growth
