Overview of Role

66degrees Software Engineers solve complex challenges to build and run AI, analytics, and other mission critical applications for our clients. You will have the opportunity to partner with businesses across different industries, working with a range of technologies like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform. As part of a cross-functional team composed of software, AI, conversational, data, and site reliability engineers, you will solve real-world problems and work on projects that deliver business value for customers ranging from Fortune 500s to unicorn startups. You will also receive hands-on exposure to cutting-edge technology from managers, mentors, and fellow team members.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance & Support: Provide ongoing maintenance and support for existing applications, including troubleshooting, bug fixes, and performance optimization.
• Collaboration: Work closely with clients, project managers, and other engineers to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure successful implementation.
• Best Practices: Follow software development best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, and testing methodologies.
• Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in application development and cloud computing.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in developing cloud-native applications. 
• Strong Python experience.
• Proficient in JavaScript and Node.js. 
• Angular and React experience preferred.
• Experience in back-end development (familiarity and exposure with full-stack development is desired but not required).
• Familiarity with GCP a plus.
• Familiar with unit testing and test-driven development (TDD).
• Familiar with the scrum process and Git.
• Experience establishing CI/CD pipelines to accelerate software delivery.
• Strong communication skills.
• Eager to work in a teamwork/collaborative environment.
