About the position
We have an excellent opportunity available for an experienced FSQ technical lead Europe to make a difference at Kraft Heinz. The FSQ technical lead Europe lies within the European business unit in EPDM. You'll be working in a high performing team, alongside peers always trying to reach the next level. You'll be reporting into Director FSQ West. Get ready for a lot of exposure to internal senior stakeholders. The delivery of results will be your primary responsibility. You're constantly looking for improvement activities within EPDM .
In brief, you are responsible for:

  • Ensuring hygienic design, cleaning, sanitation, and thermal processing meet European BU requirements.
  • Reducing Supply Chain Losses (SCL) and Factory Related Customer Complaints (FRCC).
  • Managing Capex projects related to FSQ at factories (approx. 4 million).
  • Contributing to the VE (Value Engineering) structure of FSQ.
  • Reporting to FSQ Director Europe.
  • Collaborating with R&D/SCD Pod and Global technical and food safety team.
  • Current project: the TK (Tomato Ketchup) sugar and salt reduction project.
  • Acting as the technical lead for FSQ related matters.


Qualifications
Please kindly note that you need to have an EU Working Permit (Orientation Year Visa not included) in order to proceed for this position.

  • Educational Background: Degree in Food Technology/Science or related field.
  • Years of Work Experience: Significant experience in food safety and quality within a manufacturing environment.
  • Industry Experience: Experience in the food processing industry, ideally with tomato ketchup or similar products, and taste elevation process knowledge
  • Languages: English (fluent), additional European languages are a plus.
  • IT Skills & Knowledge: Proficiency in ERP systems (especially quality systems), Microsoft Office Suite
  • Soft Skills: Project management experience, ability to collaborate across teams, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis.
