Job Description
Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain the organization’s FSMS in accordance with HACCP standards.

Coordinate food safety audits (internal and external) and facilitate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

Conduct regular risk assessments and ensure hazards are identified, evaluated, and controlled.

Lead the HACCP team and ensure the HACCP plan is up to date.

Monitor and verify CCPs, PRPs, and OPRPs, ensuring compliance and records are maintained.

Provide training and awareness to staff on food safety practices, procedures, and system updates.
-
Liaise with production, quality, procurement, and other relevant departments to ensure FSMS compliance.

Ensure documentation and records are properly controlled, updated, and readily available for audits.

Stay current with food safety laws, regulations, and industry trends.

Report FSMS performance metrics to senior management and suggest improvements.

Coordinate with external certification bodies and regulatory authorities.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or related field.

Minimum 2-5 years of experience in food safety, quality assurance, or related roles in the food industry.

Experience implementing or maintaining HACCP systems.

Strong knowledge of food safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Excellent communication, training, and interpersonal skills.

Strong organizational and documentation skills.

Detail-oriented with problem-solving ability.
