In order to keep up with the demand for new features in DataRobot, we are looking to grow our Frontend engineering team by bringing on Senior Frontend Engineers. You will play a key role in designing and implementing highly responsive, scalable, and user-friendly web interfaces for DataRobot’s innovative AI platform. As a leader in Value-Driven AI, DataRobot empowers global organizations by combining an open platform with deep AI expertise. Our platform integrates with organizations' existing data, applications, and business processes, and can be deployed on-premise or in the cloud. As a Frontend Engineer, you will actively contribute to the planning and development of our products. Together with our engineering teams, you will help our customers leverage Predictive and Generative AI to achieve real impact. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop, test, and support high-quality frontend features for the DataRobot AI platform.

  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers and product managers to translate designs into high-performing, responsive, and accessible web applications.

  • Work closely with backend engineers to create a seamless user experience and integrate frontend solutions with APIs and enterprise IT infrastructure.

  • Implement unit and end-to-end tests using Cypress and React Testing Library to ensure code reliability and performance.

  • Join architecture discussions, designing new features and infrastructure with peers' input.

  • Own individual projects, communicating progress and challenges to peers and stakeholders.

  • Provide and receive feedback constructively, including conducting and participating in code reviews.

  • Engage in frontend support, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the stability of web services.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • 3-5 years of experience developing frontend web applications, with proven expertise in JavaScript (ES6+), React, and related technologies.

  • Strong understanding of HTML5 and CSS3, with a focus on creating clean, semantic markup.

  • Expertise in designing and building frontend architectures that prioritize scalability, performance, and responsiveness.

  • Experience with Webpack, Git, and other frontend build tools and version control systems.

  • Strong skills in unit and e2e testing frameworks like Cypress and React Testing Library.

  • Proven experience working on complex web applications and managing projects from conception through completion.

  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to give and receive critical feedback.

  • Experience with D3.js for creating data visualizations.

  • Knowledge of accessibility standards.

  • Familiarity with WebSockets and MongoDB.

  • Understanding of Kubernetes and containerized application deployment in frontend development workflows.

  • Contributions to open-source projects or a portfolio of publicly viewable projects.

  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment for frontend applications.
