At Roche, our Global Digital Hub is at the forefront of providing seamless digital experiences for our customers and affiliate partners. We support global, regional, and affiliate marketing and sales teams by developing, maintaining, and improving web technology solutions.
About the Position
As a Front-End Developer, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and maintaining web-related codebase for optimal and modern digital marketing operations.
- Collaborating closely with stakeholders to solve digital marketing challenges and take ownership of new projects.
- Creating exceptional B2B digital journeys using CMS, CRM, e-commerce, and other marketing technologies.
- Educating and supporting leadership, marketing teams, and business stakeholders on digital solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Management: Manage and support frontend strategy and tactics, including project timelines, measurements, and execution.
- Business Solutions: Understand stakeholder needs, develop tailored solutions, and implement them effectively.
- Quality Assurance: Supervise and quality-check solutions created by vendors.
- UX Improvement: Lead initiatives to enhance the UX of Roche’s digital presence.
- Feature Development: Develop new features, improve existing ones, and troubleshoot issues.
- Third-Party Integration: Implement third-party tools and write custom code for optimal use.
Training and Consultancy
- Provide guidance and mentorship to colleagues on front-end-related queries and programming techniques.
- Act as a strategic partner to affiliate marketing organizations, offering solutions that meet business objectives.
Expertise and Adoption
- Understands the customer journey and contributes to optimizing marketing automation and sales enablement.
- Follow and establish process governance, maintain documentation, and implement best practices.
- Proactively research and apply the latest industry standards and strategies.
What You Bring
- 2-3 years of Front-End Development experience
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks such as React or Angular.
- Experience with CMS, CRM, and e-commerce platforms.
- Knowledge of marketing technologies (e.g., Marketo, Adobe Analytics).
- Project management skills and the ability to manage vendors and cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to drive strategic solutions.
- Mentorship experience and the ability to guide junior developers.
