Freelancer: Senior Product Designer/ UI-UX Designer (m/w/d)

Mementor is a wholly owned subsidiary of ResMed (NYSE: RMD, ASX: RMD).

Originally founded in Switzerland in 2014, mementor has had its headquarters in Leipzig since January 2020. With its “apps on prescription”, mementor starts where the conventional care of patients reaches its limits. The aim is to remove treatment barriers and to give those affected access to evidence-based therapy methods.

We at mementor are a diverse, international and highly motivated team with core competencies in the fields of psychology, medicine, software development, digital design, sales and marketing. Together we develop digital health applications (DiGAs) in the field of sleep medicine and other health specialist fields.

• Create user-centred designs ensuring the understanding and consideration of business, stakeholders, and users needs.
• Be responsible for initiating and guiding user research activities (i.e. usability tests, user interviews, data analysis), bringing insights and defining problem statements.
• Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Health Intervention team and other stakeholders to bring designs to life
• Maintain and evolve design systems and component libraries and support adoption
• You are able to clearly communicated design work and the rationale behind it and back it up with qualitative and quantitative research data
• QA testing implementation to ensure design acceptance criteria are met.
• Mentor junior designers and contribute to team-wide design best practices

Let’s talk about Qualifications and Experience
Required:

• You have good experience working with the design system and contributing it
• You have strong portfolio to demonstrate the end-to-end design process
• You have experience collaborating with other product or UX/UI designers, partnering with cross-functional teams 

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, or a related field is a plus
• Minimum of 4-5 years of related experience.
• Follows standard practices and procedures and applies basic theories, concepts, principles and methodologies in analyzing situations or data.
