What you will be doing

Insify is looking for a freelancer to help develop and build new products for the French market, specialising in commercial lines (Property as well as liability). The position will focus on the more legal part of the product to create wording and help the wider insurance team with the underwriting criteria. You will be part of the insurance team and our journey to disrupt the insurance sector and create the leading platform for entrepreneurs' and freelancers’ financial security.

You have experience building insurance products for commercial lines and a proven track record in developing and launching insurance-related products.

As part of the insurance team, you will work closely with the underwriting and pricing team to help build new products for the French market and take ownership of part of the negotiation with different risk carriers to get those potential partners to believe in Insify's vision for insurance products. Meaning helping us change the line of, sometimes, a very old industry.   

In particular, you will:

• Help to execute the product roadmap for the French market, identifying key opportunities to improve our offerings and expand our reach.
• Drive the implementation and creation of new insurance products, collaborating with our insurance and reinsurance providers.With a strong focus on the more legal part (ie. wording)
• Partner with teams across Insify, including Customer Operations, UX, Tech, Data Science & Analytics, and Sales, to build and implement those products.
• Conduct industry research, and competitive benchmarks to prioritize solutions that solve the biggest pain points for entrepreneurs.
• Develop knowledge and keep up to date with industry trends, regulatory developments, and best practices.

What you’ll need

Are you a freelancer with deep expertise in commercial property and liability insurance? Do you craft policy wordings in your sleep and have a knack for making the complex feel simple? If so, we’d love to have you on board for a one-month mission!

Specifically:

• Insurance expertise – Strong knowledge of commercial lines (property & liability) with a proven track record of launching successful insurance products.
• Clear & concise communication – The ability to break down complex topics into easy-to-understand language.
• Detail-oriented & adaptable – Sharp attention to detail while keeping things straightforward and accessible.
• Bilingual skills – French is required; English is a plus.
• Independent & proactive mindset – Comfortable working autonomously and navigating ambiguity with confidence.
