Your day at NTT DATA

We're currently looking for a Senior System Engineer for one of our clients located in Brussels.
Two days/week at the office.
FR/NL + English is mandatory.

What you'll be doing

As a Senior Microsoft System Administrator, you are responsible for the administration and optimization of our Microsoft-based infrastructure and systems. You play a crucial role in ensuring the continuity and security of our IT environment. You work closely with other IT professionals to ensure the efficient and reliable operation of our systems.

Responsibilities:

• Administration and maintenance of Microsoft Windows Server environments.
• Implementation and administration of DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
• Support and administration of Microsoft Exchange, Office 365, and SharePoint environments.
• Administration and optimization of MS SQL databases.
• Execution of system updates, patches, and security configurations.
• Monitoring system performance and resolving technical issues.
• Designing and implementing backup and recovery strategies.
• Collaborating with other teams to support and implement projects.
• Providing second and third-line support for complex technical issues.
• Documenting system configurations and procedures.
• Developing and maintaining scripts to automate and optimize system administration.
• Sharing knowledge and best practices with team members and other departments to enhance overall skills.

Profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience as a Microsoft System Administrator.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra, SCCM, Intune, Defender, Exchange, and Office 365.
• Extensive experience with virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V and VMware.
• Proven experience in the administration and support of SharePoint.
• Strong experience in MS SQL database administration.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills in French or Dutch, and English.
• Ability to effectively share knowledge and guide others.
• Certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, or similar are a plus.
• Experience in security hardening and advanced storage management.
