Your day at NTT DATA

We're currently looking for a Data Engineer for a long term mission for one of our client near Antwerp. Hybrid work environment (local presence is needed from time to time). Dutch Fluency is a strong advantage.

What you'll be doing

• Design, develop, maintain and monitor scalable data pipelines and architectures on the MS Azure platform.
• Implement and manage data warehousing solutions using Azure SQL Data Warehouse, Azure Data Lake, and other relevant technologies.
• Ensure the robustness and efficiency of data flow to & from various sources into Azure storage solutions.
• Integrate data from various sources, including ERP systems, manufacturing execution systems (MES), Lab, PI, and supply chain management systems.
• Develop ETL processes using Azure Data Factory, ensuring data is accurately transformed and loaded into data warehouses or data lakes.
• Optimize data models for analytical and operational reporting, performance and scalability
• Design and implement data models and schemas to support business requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement end-to-end data solutions and ensure the successful delivery of projects
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues
• Review technical designs.
• Establish and enforce data governance policies to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security.
• Implement data validation and cleansing processes to maintain high-quality data standards.
• Collaborate with local & global stakeholders to define data quality metrics and continuously monitor data quality issues.
• Work closely with the Strategy and Support /Business Excellence to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Provide data engineering support to business analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
• Develop and maintain documentation for data architecture, processes, and systems.
• Ensure data security and compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
• Implement and manage encryption, authentication, and access control measures.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the data & digital technology team.
• Provide training and guidance to other team members.
• Share best practices and knowledge to foster a collaborative and knowledgeable team environment.
