Why this role matters

The Fraud Operations Analyst is a key position in Vonage’s fight against fraud by protecting our customers from abuse, taking down fraudsters and ensuring the profitability of the company.  In this role you will be ensuring the fraud risk policy is applied to help minimize the impact of fraud incidence and prevent loss.

What you'll do

  • Assist the Fraud Operations Team with investigating cases of credit card fraud
  • Customer issue escalation
  • Fraud compromise deep dives
  • Monthly data compilation for fraud losses
  • Analyze customer data to identify potential fraud patterns and trends
  • Develop and implement fraud detection models and strategies
  • Monitor customer accounts for suspicious activity Investigate and analyze suspicious transactions
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop fraud prevention strategies

What you'll bring

  • Strong experience with Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets
  • Telecommunication background is a plus 
  • Knowledge and previous experience in the Investigation and Fraud claims process
  • Knowledge of anti-fraud techniques and associated practices (AML, KYC)
  • Strong English communication skills

What is required for application

  • Ability to make independent decisions
  • Ability to work overnight hours (11:30pm-8:00am, Sun-Thur or Tues-Sat)
  • 24/7 shift environment
