The Fraud Analyst is a key member of our payment fraud team, responsible for reviewing and investigating suspicious transactions to prevent and mitigate fraud on NVIDIA’s Unified Commerce Platform (UCP)! This role requires a strong understanding of fraud detection techniques and the ability to collaborate effectively with vendors and internal teams to ensure the security and integrity of our payment transactions.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Fraud Detection and Investigation including review and analyze transaction data to identify potential fraud patterns and trends. Investigate suspicious activities and transactions to determine if they are fraudulent. Work closely with vendors to resolve any fraud-related issues.

  • Collaborate with internal collaborators on responses to chargebacks and work with UCP engineering teams to automate the acceptance/challenge for fraud-related issues.

  • Strategy Development such as assisting in the development and implementation of fraud prevention strategies. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging fraud risks to proactively address them. Use data analysis tools to generate reports and insights on fraud metrics and performance.

  • Find opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains in fraud detection and prevention. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and optimize fraud detection and prevention measures. Communicate effectively with collaborators to provide updates and recommendations.

What we want to see:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, economics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 3+ years of experience in fraud detection and prevention in the payments industry, preferably with credit cards, digital wallets, PayPal, and bank transfers.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, or similar.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field.

  • Experience with machine learning or AI in fraud detection.

  • Experience with Stripe/PayPal/other industry-leading payment processing platforms

  • Certifications in fraud management or related areas as well as have a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) certification

  • Knowledge of emerging technologies in fraud prevention and PCI DSS compliance and other relevant regulations.

The base salary range is 104,000 USD - 207,000 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits. NVIDIA accepts applications on an ongoing basis.
