As an FP&A Revenue Analyst with Clearwater, you will be part of a small, collaborative team and develop, interpret, and implement financial concepts for financial planning and control. The FP&A team is responsible for driving annual budgeting, ensuring Clearwater’s resources are allocated and deployed efficiently, performing financial analysis, and partnering with teams across the company.
In this role, you will own the revenue forecast, providing insights and recommendations to the CFO and other senior leaders. You will have visibility into some of Clearwater’s highest priority business issues and develop reporting that supports the company’s growth strategy.
What you will do:

Prepare reports on financial performance and communicate insights to the wider business and executive leadership.

Drive comprehensive revenue analysis and commentary, ensuring performance and business drivers are appropriately understood and meaningful action items identified.

Consult with the management team to develop long-term budget plans.

Partner cross-functionally to influence business decisions, identifying risks and opportunities to financial outcomes and forecasts.

Develop financial models to support forecasts and management decisions.

Recommend initiatives and policies that may improve financial growth.
Who you are:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business-related field with 3+ years relevant experience.

Advanced Excel user (Vlookup, pivot tables, etc.)

Proficient user of PowerPoint, including the ability to make a variety of charts.

Problem solver with strong analytical skills able to work in a dynamic environment that requires critical thinking.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with senior leaders and other business partners.

Ability to work independently and as a team member with excellent interpersonal skills.

Demonstrated self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging and changing environment.

Preferred experience:

Familiarity with the Clearwater platform

SaaS (software-as-a-service) or other technology industry related experience

Securities, financial markets, or fintech knowledge

Automation and data visualization experience, leveraging tools such as PowerBI

Experience with accounting software such as NetSuite

Experience with cloud-based financial planning software, such as Adaptive Insights

SQL and database query experience
