FP&A Manager

ImpactAs a Manager, FP&A at Shipt, you will play a critical role in helping to strengthen Shipt’s analytic and strategic finance capabilities, processes, and workflows. You will have the opportunity to take on high visibility, strategic projects and workstreams focused on optimizing Shipt’s performance through financial analytics, business insights, and organizational partnerships by providing actionable insights to leadership on financial performance and business trends. You will work across functions and teams to solve complex problems and unique challenges at a competitive, fast-paced and innovative company.
This role will be seated in our Birmingham, AL or Minneapolis, MN office.

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field

• 5+ years of experience in accounting, data analytics, and/or corporate finance

• Financial modeling experience with solid understanding of a corporate P&L

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders communicating forecast and performance data to leaders across a variety of formats and channels.

• Proven ability to analyze complex financial data and provide clear and actionable insights

• Entrepreneurial spirit and strong analytical, decision making, project management, planning and organizational skills

• Experience developing executive level content and presentations (using industry standard tools such as PowerPoint, google slides, etc.) to share out forecast and performance details

• High level of attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.

• Workday/Adaptive Experience preferred

• MBA strongly preferred

Work Arrangement

Shipt considers candidates located near a Shipt office or workspace in Birmingham, San Francisco, or Minneapolis to be hybrid, which means that they have the flexibility to work from home (with leader approval) or at a Shipt office in order to facilitate the ability to innovate, collaborate, and spark team connections. In-office expectations will vary by role and leader.  Certain roles may require in-office presence on a full-time basis. Employees will also be eligible to receive discretionary vacation for exempt team members, paid holidays throughout the calendar year and paid sick leave.  Other compensation includes eligibility for an annual bonus and the potential for restricted stock units based on role.

Pay Range:

$88,000-$176,000

All other locations:

$73,000-$147,000

Please note that the salary range above is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
