Job Description

In this role you will act as a direct report to the Head of Commercial FP&A. As a business partner to the Global commercial leadership team you will be responsible for providing financial insights to support decision-making, strategic planning, and business performance optimization. You will be involved in budgeting, forecasting, and cost management processes, ensuring financial targets are met while driving efficiency and operational excellence. Also, you will develop and deliver insightful reporting, including KPIs and dashboards, while contributing to management, board and investor presentations. Additionally, you will partner with business leads in charge of revenue streams outside the Commercial organization, ensuring FP&A gets insights into these areas and the business gets the guidance they need and can adhere to Commercial standards.


THE CHALLENGE: 

Global Commercial Business partnering

  • Act as a true FP&A Business Partner to the Global Commercial Leadership team.
  • Provide management with relevant financial insights and help interpret data to facilitate informed decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Challenge the status quo, driving continuous improvement and efficiency.

Cost controlling & investment allocation management:

  • Collaborate with finance and business stakeholders to deliver solutions that support the company’s mission and strategy while achieving EBITDA targets.
  • Analyze cost trends and operational KPIs to challenge and support the business in optimizing spending.
  • Implement and oversee operational procedures to monitor and control costs across projects, investments, and daily operations, ensuring optimal financial management.
  • Ensure Purchasing orders are filled, and invoices are allocated correctly.

Budgeting & Forecasting:

  • Be responsible for leading the Global Commercial units through the yearly budget cycle for personnel costs, Cost of Sales as well as OPEX.
  • Ensure accurate and timely forecasts throughout the year for all Global Commercial units.
  • Support the overall long term company planning with your insights on the Global commercial area
  • Set up and monitor specific business / financial plans as needed.

Reporting:

  • Prepare and deliver monthly management reports for the Global Commercial units, covering trends, performance against budget, and forecast variances.
  • Conduct operational and financial analyses, including KPI reviews, and present findings and recommendations to Finance and business leadership.
  • Contribute content to management, board, and investor presentations, ensuring accurate and compelling storytelling of past and projected business performance.
  • Lead the design, implementation, and development of business intelligence tools and dashboard reports.

Sales incentive schemes:

  • Monitor the costs and outcomes of sales incentive schemes and collaborate with the relevant teams to identify and implement improvement opportunities.

Partner with Non-Commercial revenue streams:

  • Provide insights into revenue-driving products outside the Global Commercial organization.
  • Ensure managers have the necessary planning insights and adhere to defined revenue processes.
  • Support newly acquired businesses in meeting company standards and provide insights into their performance to the FP&A team.

More:

  • Collaborate with other FP&A, Finance Systems and Data Office teams to design and generate financial reports, dashboards, and ad-hoc analyses using system data.
  • Be accountable for ad hoc support and participation in critical business analytics, performance reporting and key project support, as directed by senior leadership.


YOUR PROFILE: 

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance is required; professional finance qualifications (e.g., CPA, CFA, CIMA) or an MBA are highly desirable.
  • 5+ years of proven FP&A experience, ideally within a high-growth, blue-chip, multinational organization.
  • Experience in cost optimization, KPI analysis, and investment evaluation.
  • Outstanding analytical and quantitative skills; able to resolve business problems with well-structured analyses communicated in an effective manner
  • High level of organizational skills and attention to detail combined with strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial insights to both financial as well as non-financial stakeholders.
  • Highly analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data, identify key trends, and deliver actionable recommendations.
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities on a regular basis, without sacrificing the ability to deliver accurate results in a timely manner
  • Adept at working independently within a defined agenda while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven track record of partnering with Senior leadership and driving financial insights to influence business decisions.
  • Experience with sales incentive schemes is considered an advantage.
  • Advanced proficiency in the MS Office suite is essential, with experience in financial/reporting systems such as OneStream, Power BI, or similar tools preferred.
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is required.

The minimum monthly salary for this position is according to Collective Bargaining Agreement, overpayment will be considered depending on qualifications and working experience.
